Paper Pieced Accordian Card

Paper Piecing is something I find extremely difficult with my eyesight but I was determined to give this one a go!

The card is for the challenges at:

I created the background for this card using Distress Inks - Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint and Pine Needles - along with an acrylic stamp of birds (not sure of brand though).

The image is from Fresh Brewed Designs and is called Hello Winter and can be found here:

The sentiments are both from Create with TLC and can be found by following the Store link here:

The paper that I have used for the paper piecing comes from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The glittery swirl comes from Rosies Studio.

  2. I am so happy you decided to give it a shot! I think you did a wonderful job! Sometimes piecing can be tedious. I like to leave leave the dresses on my images pretty plain to make piecing just a bit easier. I love your fold and the sweet sentiments.

Thank you for joining us this month at Freshly Brewed Challenges!

  4. Oh My Goodness! This is LOVELY! I love the design paper you created with the bird stamps and "Hello Winter" is PRECIOUS. It was obviously a lot of work to cut her out and do the paper piecing! You did such a beautiful job!
