Starry Christmas

This week's optional theme at CHNC is to include a star or more.

I have used a paper from a christmas paper pad along with some offcut pieces of a starry paper which I think came from a christmas paper pad by Sugar and Spice Studio.  The image is from Bugaboo Stamps and is coloured with copic markers.  I also added a strip of lace.  I followed the sketch at Stella Says Sketch.

Saying Hello

I'm away from home and realised that I needed to get this posted today so took the photo on my mobile phone.  Not that happy with the photo but it's the best I can do with the phone.

Daffodils

A pretty girlie card this time - and in my favourite colour too.   We have had a couple of days of nice weather so I think that was my inspiration here.

I have used a paper from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  the yellow squares are cut from an offcut piece of cardstock (not sure of the source of that one).  The image is from Sheepski Designs and is coloured with copic markers.  I added some Glossy Accents to the water in the jar.  I also used some butterfly embellishments and a pre-made bow.  Matting is yellow cardstock.

Easter

It's not long till Easter now.  I think with it being earlier this year it feels as though it has crept up on me just a little fast.  I'm only just starting to create Easter cards now!

http://craftygalscornerchallenges.blogspot.co.nz/2018/03/challenge-161-make-it-green.html

I have used a paper from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  The foliage on the paper is green but it has photographed more grey (possibly because of the brighter colours in the image!).  The image is from The Paper Shelter and is coloured with copic markers.  Matting is green pearlescent cardstock. The digital sentiment is from Create with TLC.  I also added a wooden flower embellishment and some pearls from Rosie's Studio.

Hi

Several months ago, I bought a die to enable me to create shaped cards when I got bored with square and rectangular ones but haven't had the time to use it until now.

I would like to enter my card into these challenges:

CRAFT Challenge - Spring
http://trimmiescraftchallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2018/03/challenge-460-22nd-of-march-springeaster.html

I die-cut the card stock to create a shaped base card.  The image is from Crafty Sentiments and is coloured with copic markers.  I edged the image with two colours of Distress Ink.  I added an offcut piece of patterned paper and matted it with some pearlescent cardstock.  I also added a button sentiment, some pink pearls and a rose sticker embellishment.

Think Happy and Be Happy

I didn't start off by creating a CAS card - it just evolved that way.  Everything that I added just looked too much.  I must have been in a CAS mood when I created this I think.

Merry Christmas

This week's challenge at CHNC has a fun theme of no patterned paper.  I had lots of fun playing with my shaving foam and re-inkers to create a background.

I then embossed the shaving foam background with a snowflake themed embossing folder.  The image and sentiment are both from Bugaboo Stamps and is coloured with copic markers and Kindy Glitz.  I also added a strip of corrugated paper and some Nuvo Drops.  The die used to cut the image is from Spellbinders.

I followed the sketch at Stella Says Sketch.

Recycled Tape Rolls

I joined together some used double sided tape rolls and then covered them with paper mache.  A coat of acrylic paint and then I was ready to decorate!

This is a bit picture heavy as I took photos all around the container.

I used an image from QKR Stampede which I coloured with copic markers and Kindy Glitz.  I also added embellishment in the form of stickers, borders and some paper embellishments.

Spring Greens

Here is another post that should have gone out days ago.   It is now past the mid point of the current challenge at Scribbles Designs.  As a reminder, the theme this challenge is Go For Green.  Although, the obvious would be to go with a St Patricks theme, I went with the fresh green colours of springtime.

I have used an image from Scribbles Designs called Flower Ying Yang 1.

Colouring is with copic markers.  The base card is green cardstock to which I added some green sparkly mesh ribbon and some green pearls from Rosie's Studio.

Ultraviolet

I'm still playing catch-up at the moment. There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day!  I'm not working this morning so I'm trying to get as much done as I can - some of which should have been done yesterday or the day before.

I'm here now to let you know about this week's challenge at Incy Wincy Designs that started yesterday.  The theme for the challenge is Ultraviolet and the sponsors for this challenge are Mari Ko Creations and A Day For Daisies.

I have used an image from A Day For Daisies called Fairy Wish Bug 1.

I also used a corrugated paper strip and some sparkle gems. The sentiment is from Beyond The Fringe.  Colouring is with copic markers.

Sunny Days

We are at the start of the March challenge at Path Of Positivity.  Continuing with our colour theme, this month we are focussing on Shades Of Yellow.  For me, yellow is a bright, happy, sunny colour.  It speaks to me of sunshine and warmth.

For this challenge, we are sponsored by Limited Runs and Imagine That Digistamp

I have used an image from Limited Runs called Joy.

The sentiment is also from Limited Runs.  I also used a polka dot paper from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I added a pre-made flower embellishment, some yellow gemstones and a corrugated paper strip (which hasn't photographed as yellow as it actually is!).
